OUR VINTAGE UPCYCLING COMPETITION
LAUNCHING 1st NOVEMBER
Open to anyone with a love for upcycling and an aptitude for fashion design, the challenge is to design a garment made from vintage deadstock.
Alter Eco is a celebration of design, reuse and originality in our quest to innovate vintage fashion and highlight upcoming designers to the industry and public.
Do you think you've got what is takes to create an original garment out of 1.5kg Goldsmith Vintage deadstock that will impress our industry judges and tempt Goldsmith Vintage London shoppers?

Enter the competition through the form
From 1st November visit Goldsmith Vintage Neal Street store to sift through and select your 1.5kg vintage deadstock
Collect your stock by 30th November
Design and create your original garment!
Submit by photograph before 31st January competition close

Rules
1.5kg vintage deadstock per entrant
No other materials are permitted to be used
Judging and prizes
Entries that make it through the photo submission round will make the shortlist
Our shortlist will be judged by our industry experts and scored on their execution, originality and commerciality
The winner’s garment will be showcased in Goldsmith Vintage’s central London store window and will benefit from associated PR the project attracts
Winner's and runners up with win store vouchers: 1st: £500, 2nd: £200 and 3rd: £100
